Don Moore Chevrolet in Owensboro, KY (very nice salesman by the name of Marty Abney)

I asked about their pricing and they said they would never sell above MSRP. The guy even mentioned that by the time the Camaro came in (if I ordered now in early June), there was a good chance that I would get supplier pricing. He indicated they have taken 14 orders so far and that "expected" delivery would be around 4 months.

I just placed my custom order for my new ABM 2LT today and not only was the deal agreed upon being @ MSRP, but the entire experience has been up front, honest, and most of all - very personable. I prefer conducting initial communication via email / phone and after contacting a number of dealerships in my area, Country Chevrolet has been, hands down, the absolute best. While it may be a bit of a drive for me (~40 minutes), it was well worth the trip. I'm almost as excited to have had such a personable car buying experience as I am with ordering a new Camaro. Odd, that's never happened before!

I have been doing some research and I am looking to order soon. I have checked a few dealers in the area around northern Delaware. I just got back today from Diver Chevrolet. I actually was talking to Richard Diver, and didnt know it. We were talking at length about the situation with Camaros and he stated, "We will NEVER sell any vehicle for more than MSRP. In bad times like this, if you want to be around for the good times, you must treat your customers right. If I sold a car for more than MSRP my Grandfather would come down from heaven and put his foot in my #$@" He stated he would be more than happy to take my GMS order now or when I am ready. As he handed me his business card, it was then I realized I was talking to the owner. He said, " If you have any trouble getting what you need, call me."
I bought my 04 Colorado from this dealer. I am pretty sure hes my Camaro dealer.

I wanted to thank Mike Townsend ,the management and staff of Thomas Chevrolet in Media, Pa.for delivering my ABM 2LT RS tonight. Dealership only asked for $500.00 deposit( as opposed to upwards of $2000.00 locally) on October 15th, 2008. He always kept me in loop about car, any info he learned he passed on(even though I learned a lot through here). Highly recommend you stop by. MSRP with not even asking for it, esp since neighboring dealer was asking close to 5K over.

I got an Email today from the below dealership, they have had a buyer back out of a Black 2SS/RS with an inferno Orange interior for MSRP $36714, this was an hour after I ordered my 1SS/RS, but I wanted Cyber Grey. I got mine at Turan Foley in Biloxi, Ms. They quoted me MSRP, but said they would work with me when I went in to pick it up, I'm a repeat customer & my buddy is friends with the owner. They can only order 1 more per their Allotment as of now. My 1SS/RS with Boston Acoustics & the RS Package as the only options is $32.7xx. So lots of dealers not gouging.

Talking MSRP Dealer & great experience

FYI - Got tired of waiting for dealer to get an available allocation and canceled my order at the end of October. They said it was going to be a while when I ordered but when my position in line didn't change in almost 2 months I got tired of waiting and went elsewhere.

Dealer Name: Ourisman Chevrolet of Bowie
Dealer location: Bowie, MD
Dealer phone number: 888-495-6611
Dealer website:http://ourismanchevroletofbowie.com

Just placed an order tonight for my new 2SS/RS IOM/IO Camaro

They were great and even showed me an IOM they had in the bay waiting to be picked up. I have to say it looks amazing.

The whole process took me less then an hour and that included two trips from the sales area back to the service bay so I could look at the IOM and Black Camaros they had sitting there.

I'm hoping the rest of the process from waiting, to picking it up, to service is going to be just as good.

They were FANTASTIC, we've been buying all of our families Chevrolets from them since before I was born. This was my first new vehicle, I just picked up a RJT, 2LT manual last night! There were no hidden charges or crazy mark ups..... I'll definitely be going back to them!

They have 1 more certain allocation and might get more, ask for Mike Cramer and tell him Katie sent you!!!

You picked up your order or a vehicle they had in stock for one reason or another at MSRP?

Back on the list

Yet again the GM based websites show their true worth!!!

The extra $700 is based on an Interior/Exterior protection package that has been added post delivery to the dealer on their showroom LT.

Another SS/RS Victory Red about to go out the door for MSRP as I type this!

Apologies to Joe B. for my misinformation!!!!

Thanks Joe for taking the time to PM me!

Ask for Jason. He is the internet sales manager. We got our 2SS/RS CGM w/Black racing stripes at MSRP. Jason is a truly awesome man!

Spoke to Donal (Internet guy) today and met him in person. He agrees that buying a Camaro over MSRP is nuts since you will NEVER recoup that money. Ever.

He's taking orders for the Camaro at MSRP.

BTW, they had a ZR1 in the showroom for some lucky guy in California who has already purchased it. 'Tis a sight to see.
