oop forgot one thing. We are open on saturdays 9-6 so camaro fest can't really be here. interfering with the business. so i guess i'll have to miss work that day. oh darn.

Would your local track allow us to have it there starting at noon? They should have enough room for everyone and for those that want to race can have at it.

It's roughly around 115 to 135 miles from all 3 big cities to Temple, so a few hours of cruising. Each city can caravan out.

I don't think the track is open that early. can always double check to see if we could get something done out there.

A lot of times one of our tracks in the area would open up at noon on a Saturday for special events. It is a way for them to make extra money that day. Since they open that day anyways, it would just be earlier then normal. You let them charge their usual entry fees and they get to sell items from the consession stand as well. I don't have a problem paying the driver and spectator fees, you have to pay that anywhere you go. Plus you can have a car show in the pits while the racing is going on. It's worth a shot and we should have a rather large crowd of cars if everybody from around TX shows up.

Give them a call and see if they would be interested.

Ill see what i can do.

word has come down that "someone" wants to do something along with the car show like a chilli cook off

and they want to do everything- texas camaro fest/ escort drive/ drag night all in one weekend.

Idk seem like alot going on to me... like there isn't enough to put together.
we'll see. If we get to do this i'll need ALOT of help.

Temple's 4 hours from Houston, 2 from SA, 3 from Dallas, and an hour from Austin. Not bad.
