They give you that "Nationally Protected and Endangered" list yet?
LOL Grant, you know your car is awesome. We have to give you guys crap since it seems that all the HT's have em. It's like a rite of passage or something. So...back on track. We got the new LG G5 Adjustable Coilovers on the whip now. Such a different ride. Stiffer, like in the difference it was in going from no sways to sways. Really tightens up the ride. Simple install....easier Took it down about 2.5" but I really want to see about going down about 4" total to give it that really low look but need to see if it's gonna allow me to clear the Race Ready Cutouts. That might be a problem. I'll try to fit it in this week. Also swapped out to a polished set of 21s to see if that gives it a different look....always liked these and less black paint to try and keep clean. What you think guys??! Ivan @ Southwest Speed |

I can still see daylight....not enough is scraping so. LOL I'll try another 1" and see what happens. The car drives so much different when it's slammed like that too. It takes off and hooks soooo much better now. Even with the 21s. I imagine with the 20's it would really launch. |

That's worth every freaking penny right there. Looks and performance all in one is a win-win.

At any rate, yessir. I was born in the Bay area and lived there for a while. I vividly remember my Dad having so much trouble when we'd take the (race) truck down for the Smog inspection/test deal. They'd fail him, hed act surprised, ask em what was needed, then go back to the shop and "fix" it. This was in the early 80's so.....little different I'm sure. I don't know how you guys honestly do it. I lived in San Diego from late 99- mid 2000 when I was driving a stroked LT1 car. Such a pain in the backside, always got stopped, had to show military ID to let em know I was TAD. Just a tough time for anybody wanting to do anything more than a license plate frame to their cars. But you guys do have all them SoCal women and the beaches.....of course. LMAO |
