Vararam Ram Air Induction System
Vararam Ram Air Induction System part #937-VR-Camaro (only saw it on Jegs)
$369 I just came across this. I know in the past I've read about this intake for Corvettes. Supposed to get nearly double the HP/TQ on Camaros vs most CAIs. Anybody familiar with this??? |

I have it. No difference felt from my Haltech. Its a nice setup that looks very efficient. I mean..its not like your gonna gain 15-25hp over another setup.

Vararam Ram Air Induction System
I have the Vararam intake and it’s definitely an upgrade over the K&N air intake I had. I went with the tune model and even got it dynoed after the install. This was awhile ago. Here’s the dyno sheet.... it barely picked up up hp, but torque it gained almost 20 to the wheels! Humidity and temp could have affected it as well, but still happy with the torque it made. Worth the upgrade! Cleaning it is the only pain haha. This is from awhile ago.

It's worth it in my opinion. Between the DRX for my 2015 L99 and the solo HF Cats and catback it made a very noticeable difference! It had a hard time sliding the rear end out before I did the mods. Just did the Solo HF cats today and it is even more noticeable than the vararam imo. Between the 2 mods I wouldn't be surprised if it puts down 20-25 more rwhp.
It's that significant just those two mods. I can only imagine what a tune will do to it. |
