set up Q's to run 315s

My stock tires are getting thin at 19k miles so I'm looking to upgrade my rims and tires. I'm wanting 315s on the back but curious if I'll need any type of spacers. I'd also like to lower the car an inch, any rubbing? I know I'll need 20x11 rear rims, how much weight does this add? Not worried about gas mileage as it isn't a daily but does it effect it t all? Any issues with this set up I need to be aware of?

Thanks!!!!

i used to run 20x11 TSW Nurbergring's and there was no spacer needed. as far as lowering/rubbing thats all going to depend of the offsets you get. the right wheels with the right offsets will be just fine. my 20x11 nurbs with 315's never rubbed once and im lowered 1.25" on Pfadt springs. and as far as weight, again it depends on the wheel you choose. the TSW's were lighter than stock and wider.

hope that helps

I have 20x10.5 with nitto motivo 315s in the rear. I'm also lowered an inch in the rear and have no rubbing issues whatsoever. I have some pics in my build thread if you're interested

I have 20x10.5's out back +35 offset. 1" BMR drop and my 315's do not rub, I've taken hard corners, and hit some dips in the highway at 80MPH, also launched hard and banged 2nd gear. no rubbing whatesoever.

Awesome, thanks for all the info! This has helped a lot. I'm looking at Forgestar F14s wrapped in Vreds. 20x11 rear and 20x9 in the front.

The wheels look awesome!!!!!! Thanks for the info. I'm not pulling the trigger until over the winter when my Camaro is in storage so I have a while to look and make a decision.

Don't forget to pull back the parking brake cables to clear the wider wheels. Do a search on the forums.
