Koni orange or Pedders struts??
I have 1 inch Hotchkis springs, trying to decide between Koni Orange struts or Pedders, both are similar in price and available.
Any opinions? |

I was thinking of going koni orange (or maybe coil overs in the future). Only because the peddlers seem to need a slight modification to make them fit better. Plus koni and bmr springs are sold together in package deals because they fit perfect together. Also heard hotchkin springs also fit perfectly in them

I am looking at the koni's for the same reason, no drilling.
Did either of you go with them? The 1LE's are hard to find. |

I have the pedders for about 7k miles now, lowered on BMR 1.4 springs and I like them alot - nothing had to be drilled for the install.

I have the Koni oranges with BMR 1" drop springs and I think they ride too harsh.
If I was doing it all over I would prob go with the Pedders. I have a complete set of 1LE struts and shocks in the wings to put on, but I may go a diff route looking to improve drag launches.

I just ordered both. Got the koni's today and was able to find the 1LE suspension only.
I can't find the rear mounts anywhere. I am told Regular SS mounts, 1LE or Z/28 should work. Did you get the rear strut mounts with yours? |

Sorry, I dont mean to hijack this thread.. but I have been looking at new struts/coiloivers as well and have been thinking about the Koni's. Just curious on what rear mounts you are looking for?

Ashen, I am looking for the 1LE rear strut mounts. I actually just got the Koni's if you are interested? I couldn't find the individual 1LE parts I needed, until I actually did ordered them. I was in a rush do to an appointment for the work to be done.

I know in the past Konis had some issues. I'm assuming by now it's been corrected. You can find the individual 1le shocks/struts on rock auto.
