Just another tool in the arsenal not necessarily the end all.

Nope.

Because you could get all pedantic and create 20 different profiles on a similar theme....that when in reality in the car, you'd never notice any difference.

There are plenty of shelf cams out there that will do anything you need without having to overthink or worry about it.

Ted.
True but it is nice to see where a profile will place valve events. I was worried about the DCR on his current cam. Does it not concern you? Old LS1 rule of thumb was 8.5:1 max for pump gas and lower for boost applications. Has that changed or been ruled a myth?

It would concern me, if he was running pump gas

G4 has arrived

The G4 came in yesterday. Very nicely packed. Cant believe how light these blowers are. This G4 has nice coat of gloss black thanks to @barneycustomcoatings at ESS. Looks really good and will help keep my dirty hands prints off of it.

I just realized I never updated this thread with the last G3X dyno sheet. This was on the 427 @16.5psi. Thats all the G3X could muster up on this beast of a motor. It just needs more blower, and the G4 should help.

Trying to decide on an injector aince my fic1300s are pretty much maxed, then I can begin tuning.

If you tune with Ted I know he likes the ID injectors. ID1700 would work well I bet.

Looks good man! Looking forward to the results. I just got through installing ARP head studs and plan to re spring the wastegate For some 1/4 mile runs this weekend. AJ told me I can send him my G3x to get the G4X conversion. He said super cheap...we shall see.
