So I picked her up this morning and was showing my buddy the NPP exhaust. I said "there's a flange that opens when you get on the throttle" and he said "nope, it's doing the opposite" and sure enough, open when idle, closed when revving. Other than that little defect, the car seems to be perfect.

Oh, ok. I thought they just opened once, I didn't know they worked like that. I love the sound when they're open. Every time I started it today, I looked in the rear view mirror and anytime I saw a person, they turned their heads. Within the first hour I was chatting with a random stranger about the car. Awesome.

My odometer just hit 1000 this morning. Once my finances recover from buying this thing, I'm going to pick up a Trailblazer or Acadia with 100k miles to use as a daily driver. I just can't bring myself to put the kind of miles on this car that I typically drive in a year. To sum up the first week, this car is f***ing awesome. Everybody who sees it loves it and there's always people who speed up to get next to me just to look at it. For the same money, there's no other car I'd rather have.

Mine is at 1366 at this moment. My commute to work is about 80 miles and I am working tomorrow and Sunday. This means I will be at 1500 on Monday and I shall be changing the rear diff fluid and having some fun!

Haven't even made the first payment and I got a scratch. The worst part is that I did it! I was rolling the car back to put my ramps under the front wheels and just gingerly rubbed up against the hinge on my garage door. Put a 1cm scratch down to the bone on the bumper. I guess this is a good excuse to buy the ZL1 rear bumper and diffuser. I went over the rest of the car with carnuba wax and you need sunglasses to look at it in direct sunlight.

How's everybody from our class doing? I'm up to 3000 miles and still have a blast every time I fire it up. I forgot what it was like driving a car that everybody wants to challenge but since I'm older now I don't feel like I need to answer every one.

3400km on the odometer....and loving every minute of it. Still get a smile every time I start the car and hear the NPP exhaust.
