They hook up pretty good
Here is a log of my last track pass on old stock tires

They definitely hook better. I just need to find a good launch rpm, it will probably be close to 4000. You can't see it here but when I look at the data, I reached 100mph 1 second quicker with the Nittos than the track pass.

So I went to Mobile Dragway Friday. 60ft times were very consistent around 2.12. Wheelhop was a problem and the car would bog down on launch. I have managed 60 ft times under 2 sec on stock Pirellis so once I figure out my launch, times should get better. In essence I need the tires to spin more than they do or I need to slip the clutch more. If anything my car may be more consistent with less reliance on who's driving.

hey, as long as you got what you wanted, then they are perfect. A car's/engines capability is mostly dependent on who's behind the wheel anyway.

When I lived in Ohio, there were some people who put together a Mod Day where someone opened his home/barn to anyone interested and we would all go over, bring tools, and help whoever do whatever to their car. I think it would be awesome to do something like that here as well.

But surely, I mean surely, there are more than two people in the area.

Awesome. Is yours an automatic or standard transmission? Were there a lot of people there? We need to get up sometime. The tires I bought were a bust. The car is dangerous and acts like the rear is trying to pass the front going down the road. And in a turn it's the same way. It's bad so I'm taking it back to Firestone Wednesday to see what they can do. I'll go back to the 285s if they will work with me. That would be fun just have like a cars an coffee once a month or something like that. Or what ur talking about would be nice too. I wonder that all the time if it's just us 2 or if there is more

You don't blow the tires off at the line?

I can, but it is more difficult with the drag radials. As long as I control throttle and clutch properly, I can manage just the right amount of wheelspin. I'll admit this is very hard to control with bald street tires

ECC

You are always welcomed in the Emerald Coast Camaro's. We meet every month for a meet and greet lunch and cruise. We do have a few members in Pensacola and a few places further west.

I gotcha. I've never been able to control very good lol. I've figured out my problem about the 315s. It's not the tires but I hit a pot hole
Or something on the left front and has knocked my
Alignment out. I have the stuff printed out, do you recommend any certain place? I've noticed our cars are very tedious machines

No recommendations here. I had the dealership do it last time.
