Electrical gremlins from sitting to long?

I have a 2010 2SS/RS/M6 w/ 46K miles, I am the only owner and the car has been virtually trouble free since new. The past 2 years I have been having periodic sensor problems. I have a reader so I know what the codes mean. I have had a “THROTTLE POSITION SENSOR” failure 3-4 times and today I got a “CAMSHAFT POSITION SENSOR”. Every time I have one of these failures I have been able to reset the code and everything is fine.

Later today I got a “REDUCED POWER” warning but no codes. I did a code clear again and the car ran perfectly the rest of the day. These intermittent sensor warnings don’t make any sense when I can simply reset them and the car runs fine for a pretty long period of time. It’s like I’m a getting annoyance tripping of sensors and I’m not sure why? The car does sit for weeks at a time before I try to start it and the battery is usually kind of low when I start it but it’s never failed to start. I know a low battery can do strange things but it’s only a 2 year old battery. Is the car sitting for long periods of time cause these electrical type gremlins?

I would start with why the battery would be low.
Not charging completely?
Weak connections?

Definitely start with the battery. They do all kinds of weird stuff with a weak battery.

Try a trickle charger to keep the battery up.See if that does anything.

The battery is low when the car has sat for a month not started. The battery is fine but the car does have a slow drain on the battery but that’s normal.

My car sits in my shop usually four to eight weeks and never any issues. Mine went dead during a three month time out and it was 7.5 years old.

I never had issues. I bought a new battery after 8 yrs old. It sits. But I did buy a battery tender recently. Tired of having to take everything out the trunk to get to battery. In past 3 yrs I bet I drove a total of 20 miles
