It sounds like you’ve already noticed the increased volume inside the car. That’s one reason we chose to install mufflers under the trunk instead of under the passenger compartment.
It has a much quicker throttle response. I want to get a dyno done to get an exact. I also noticed that my intake whistles longer during acceleration... so it's definitely breathing better. I lost about an inch of clearance but nothing that gets annoying... we torched where the bracket bolts in under the chassis and bent it out a little to fit the muffler further up.

As for the volume... For the first week the exhaust was very LOUD inside the car... almost annoying loud. It vibrated your brain at around 2000RPM, but after it broke in it isn't bad. It sounds much smoother now and only loud when i want it to be. Usually an exhaust will get louder but this actually did the opposite... inside the car atleast. You can still hear it, of course, but for a muffler located right under the back seat it's not as loud as you'd expect. On the highway it was horrible for the first week but now i can hardly hear it when cruising at 70mph. Outside of the car it has been bassy and "tuned" since the beginning. After the break period its hard to explain the difference but ill try... Its maybe a little less tuned sounding. Not in a bad way its still tuned when accelerating but idling and down shifting you can hear it gargle more aggressively... almost as if you can hear it breathing better.

I'll try to get a video of how it sounds now.

Availability question

What vendors other than MRT and Morano Racing sell the MRT v2.0 exhaust for the V6? I'm trying to find the best price.

I was in that dilemna for soooo damn long till i just F*** IT im going for the "FLOWMASTER American Thunder Exhaust Kit"... it'll arrive in acouple of days hopefullu.

Still worried it might not sound as good as expected on the V6, I had it on my ex.vette and it sounded "WHOA"! hope not much difference with the Camaro v6.

---- how about just going with the FLOWMASTER?

BBM? blackberry? then no, I don't

I hear the flowmaster has great amount of drone that makes the car uncomfortable to drive,

but so does my MRT, and I like it.

where you going to install the exhaust?

Have you heard of adnan and bader (British)- tune /Dyno garage in shuwaikh?
Theres also other garages right next to them that install mods.

Good place to order your mods is from 3atheem - "HOT SPEED", located near them garages.
