Front Tow Hook?

I appologize if this is a silly question?

I haven't had any luck finding this info elsewhere. I don't have my car yet, and currently, no access to one to get a close look at.

Do the 2010 Camaro's have a tow hook on the front/bumper? If so, anyone able to post pix please?

Ah, bummer.

Wanted to fix a front licence plate holder there instead of drilling.

Back to searching for alternatives.

Thanks for the replies.

While I won't be putting a plate on my car, I'd rather pay the fine than ruin my front end, this is an alternative I used on my wife's Scion XB that might actually work for the Camaro's too.

http://www.eight08customs.com/licenseplatebracket.html

Basically, having bought one for the wife years ago and it's still going strong with no issues. Although this one might work for the Camaro's (no car yet, can't test) it'd be really easy to recreate at home depot or the local hardware store that would... using a couple of long threaded bolts, some locking washers and nuts, and some larger washers, I think something can easily be fashioned for the Camaro that (a) won't require drilling or modification to mount, and (b) will work with the upper or lower grill area (if not both, though I think lower'd look cooler). You could likely do without the cross-plate/piece that's pictured too.

All tolled, likely for a cost of less than $10 and 15 minutes. If it doesn't work, you return the parts.

Interesting, may have to consider something along those lines.

Thanks for the reply

The Camaro will never need to be towed (except the pre-QC ones).
All those that mention of 'towing' will be flogged and feathered!

If there is no tow hook or place to screw one in like on many other cars, does some know where I would hook a wench cable to pull the car into a trailer?

Camaro tow hooks

I know this is an old thread but in case anyone is still watching this thread, we developed a front and a rear tow hook kit for the 5th Gen Camaros. We should be releasing the kits in the next week or two.

The two hooks are stainless steel and then powder coated red for high visibility.

Watch our web site or our newsletter for the release date. We will also plan to post to this forum when they are released.

The Camaro does in fact have front tow hooks, but only if it is an overseas car. While touring the line this past weekend I watched one being installed. It is behind a small cover, it has a place for the tow hook to be quickly screwed in.
