I am going to be late and probably not be there until 11am after a fiasco with FedEx and a shipper on a part I ordered. I'll be the in my Equinox as my car is not back together yet.

Is stillmeadow all that impressive? Same guy wins 1st place every month doesn't sound that exciting considering even when new people come in. If you guys were smart you would have done the cruise for fun not because of any other reason. Same thing every month gets boring after a while. That why I was even hesitant to plan a Cruise because no one ever wants to do anything that's not in their own backyard maybe it's just this region as no one else seems to have this issue.

Reason I didn't make anything today, arrived 15 minutes prior to meet time when I should've had it yesterday.

I don't know why there aren't many people that show up. SEPA5 always has at least 20-30 cars at the monthly meet every month. I even have to drive an hour to get there.

I don't know. People in this area just don't want to get involved. There are plenty of 5th gen Camaro's in the area you just never see them but in people's garages never really at car shows even. The person that has my old car let's it sit in a garage in New Oxford and I've seen it once in over a year and that was in their driveway. I know BigD1276 from Hanover rarely drives his and haven't seen him at any meets or car shows despite having a beautiful car. There's a few super nice Camaros in the Hanover area that I've seen at car shows but none at evenhe. Most of the people on SCPA5 Facebook have not showed to a single event or meet. I''ve had people say they want to do these meets but haven't shown once. People out this way don't want to drive as you guys do for SEPA5 that seems like a big issue. I could plan more exciting events if more people got involved versus not.

I don't think bailing on the cruise was a smart decision. Especially when you trade that in for the usual location in York (which shows the unwilling to drive) and a car show in which the same guy wins first place every month no matter who else shows up in his category. I founded this group to do things like SEPA5 and DMV5 does.

I don't know why more people show don't up. I understand QmaroSS had a family emergency, but still there were supposed to be about 7 instead of the 3 of us who showed up. I started a community social group yesterday for SCPA5 that hopefully we can get the word out a little more easily and start a contact list so that if need be we can get in contact with others via phone or e-mail.

It was brought up to the group that showed up yesterday if they still wanted to cruise or if they wanted to do something else. It was unanimously decided to hit up QS&L because we did not have a route to travel and none of us knew where Caledonia park was. Yes the show that two of us went to later has a person who wins 1st in the 2000+ category all the time, but he actually just squeaked out the victory. He only has a V6 Bumblebee clone and not a true Bumblebee otherwise the competition would be more tough. One of these times the "king" will be dethroned!

If we do get more solid interest we can hit up more events and have ideas for events. It was also discussed at lunch that we would like to join up with SEPA5 for the covered bridge cruise if/when that takes place this year.

I plan to go to Stillmeadow next month. I want to take my shot for fun. Covered Bridge cruise is Oct 11th so I know I will be out since Greyhound's reach the beach that weekend in Dewey and it's also Ocean City Endless Summer Cruisin' weekend. The covered bridge cruise they have a photographer set up to take pics of your car as you cross the bridge. I'vs never done it myself but it is probably fun.
