That should get a solid crank if your E38 tables are good. Everything else is still v6 modules including instrument panel and FPCM etc. I’ll have more details later.
That's awesome to hear. Subbed to your Youtube channel as well, hope to do to mine what you have done to yours.

You try just posting the full YouTube link? It should auto-embed as soon as you save the post.

Can you clarify? Did you disable the clutch pedal sensor only for initial start-up? Why? I thought the clutch pedal sensor went directly to the E38, so it should have worked fine.

I'm attempting to install a gen iv 5.3 truck engine into an older pickup, and want to use a manual transmission. To do so, it appears the best method is to flash the ecm to a camaro SS ls3 tune, and use a matching camaro bcm for cruise and smart charging. Then I'll be repopulating the camaro tune with the truck VE tables, spark tables, etc.

I went the opposite direction. manual trans. over to auto trans. 2ss model.i have some questions for you. my car starts and runs but trans. does not communicate with the car. by using my autel scanner I have found the bcm vin does not match the car. the tcm vin does not match the car, the ebcm vine does not match the car. did you have any luck changing the vin in the used module you swapped in? thanks for any help..

my car was an manual from the factory. I have since changed it over to an automatic. my question was concerning module programming. specifly programming used modules.

There is a thread on this topic. There are a few that have went from manual to auto. Bo White and NightOwl are the two off the top of my head that I know swapped trannies. Bo did what you did. and NightOwl swapped to manual. They are both on Camaro5.

Pardon my ignorance but what is an “E38”?

E38 is the model of the ECM that is found in LS3/L99 Camaros. The ZL1 Camaro has an E67 ECM, for example.
