When our camaro gets here, me and the wife are thinking about taking a couple of weeks off and hitting the road towards the Grand Canyon. We will be picking up Route 66 in Baxter Springs, KS and following the mother road all the way to Williams, Az. Should be an awesome ride and tons of stuff to see and do along the way...

Mel's Dinner

After getting my 2010 2SS home safely, I then plan on driving over to Mel's Dinner to take a few photos and have a hamburger. After that I will take it to the Drive-In Movie over off Hwy 50. I want the Camaro to be seen at the Drive-In Movie before it disappears from the Landscape.

We'll take the back roads from Bastrop, Texas out west to the little town of Voca then head on home to Ft. Worth also on the back roads, it will be a great drive foir sure. We've done the same drive after picking up several of our Corvettes at Bastrop.

I took mine around town for a LONG time -- used up about 1/4 tank and loved it! Promptly took it home and rinsed off the dirt from the day...then had to rinse it again in the morning -- bird crap!
