Technology is a wonderful thing..............but nothing, especially the '10 comes close to being as gorgeous as that '69

I added 2 more pics to the original post from this shoot

I'll upload larger sizes to Google Picassa in the future to download for those of you that have requested. I also have some decent pics of a yellow RS and SS

And thanks all for the compliments on the 69. I have owned the car for 18 years (I'm almost 36 now). It's a ball to drive and that is the his of the soon his and hers Camaros in our family

Is it me, or does the '69 look a little closer in color to IBM than ABM? Maybe somewhere in between?

Either way, these pics are awsome.

Too late for me to change now. I'm at 3400 with my IOM exterior/interior, CGM rally stripes. Still happy with my decision.

But man, those pics make IBM with white stripes awful tempting.

That is one hell of a bad a$$ looking car.

I'd add the stripes.

To me stripes just make the car look faster.

oh and awesome cars bro
cant wait to do that with my cars,, now should I stripe my 69 to match or leave it be

deffinately stripe it! that would just be badass for them to match eachother

You might be surprised to know -- (....and then, mebbe not....) that all work on a 5th gen Camaro took into consideration ALL dimensions of the 1st gen Camaro......

If you walked into design studio (.......the guards would throw you out....) --

.....seriously - if you walked into design studio during all the work over the past several years -- you'd see a large white paper on the wall -- a VERY LARGE white paper -- and on there you'd see the 'outline' of several cars from the side-view -- you'd also see wheelbases -- radiator support -- bumper height -- seat outlines -- legroom/headroom/hip room/etc outlines -- for several cars including:

>First gen Camaro
>4th gen Camaro
>current Mustang

........and you would realize that the 5th gen is very close to many of the measurements of the 1st gen (wider tho....)

I think that some people look at the car as much larger than it is -- and it has a lot to do with the high belt-line -- and low roof line --

My 69 is actually not a 69 stock color. It is 2004 Corvette Electron Blue Metalllic. It is lighter than the IBM blue. I would say it's an in between color of ABM and IBM. If I was to get one of those 2 colors, it would be the ABM. I originallt wanted the IBM, but it is too dark. I'm waiting to see one in person.

And it is an honor to have the Fbodfather chime in on my topic. Hope to see you at the Ontario Camaro Nationals this June.

I did think the 2010 would be a higher car, but it was pretty close in comparison to my 69. My 69 is pretty much at stock height except for the 2" drop springs in front and the big block dropping it down a slight bit more.
