No school like old school. Even though I love my 2010, the 69 Camaro were hot in their day, have stood the test of time and are still awesome to look at and drive.

The 69 is beautiful but overall my 2010 is just a better car. It's faster, handles better, rides better. It has all the modern gadgets. That said I will someday also own a 69.

I wont lie I love the classics but I love the muscle cars of my time... But I have to give it to the 69 do to the fact that it is just a little more important to the camaros history

'69's are a dime a dozen, that's why my '67 is a daily driver.

Sad thing is I am probably gonna have to sell it to buy a 2011. :(

Uh....hello.

You'll be able to buy a 5th gen for a long time sir.

Go for the First gen. My opinion from a guy who sold his '67 RS.

D'oh!

I was faced with this question, buy the 69 SS/RS I always wanted or a new Camaro. I have the money to buy either, so that was not a factor in the decision. The more I looked at the new design, the more I liked it. I graduated High School in 1969 and remember one of the popular girls in school getting a white with orange stripes SS/RS convertible as a graduation present. I liked the 69 more than the 67 & 68 models and almost bought a couple of different 69's over the years but the deals fell through and I got more involved in Corvettes. I currently own a 67 Vette, which I still believe is the the most beautiful car ever produced. I kept looking at pictures of the new Camaro along side pictures of the 69 Camaro. The new design just has such graceful lines with muscular curves that just shout, I am a Camaro, don't mess with me. I love the old cars that I had the pleasure of growing up with, but when I had to make the decision of new vs old, I had to pick new. When the Z28 arrives and it is in the my garage sitting next to the Vette, I know that I will be looking at two of the most beautiful cars ever produced.
