Increasing Rev Limiter

So I had a bunch of work done to my motor and as a result have no problem pushing it past the 6400 red line on my A6. As a matter of fact, it runs better if I run it around 6600 RPM - but would be safe at 7000 granted I really don't want to go that high lol.

Anyway - so I tuned my shifts for 6600 but on a occasion I get a "power drain" type impact right before a shift. Turned out that fuel cut off was also tuned in at 6400. Where else do I have to look for rev limiting factors? Advice directly in HP Tuners would be great!

Thanks guys!

E-mail your calibration to steckdw at gmail dot com.

Did you eliminate the DoD equipment when you did your cam?... If you still have the DoD lifters... then you are skating on extremely thin ice trying to rev high. If you did, then all's well.

I gaurantee you're not making usable power at 7000rpm though.

E-Mail sent - and I got rid of the DoD and I replaced the lifters, had a valve job and changed out the pushrods
