Anyone with a RPI Designs splitter on their SS experience it being not sturdy or had to replace? I just bought one and It looks like my Camaro would eat that thing up for lunch.. any feed back?

it's been on for almost 2 years. Will do a little touch up around the base of it this winter. Held up great and the car is lowered.

I have the splitter from RPI and the only problem I had was with the quality of the paint. Don from RPI worked hard to resolve my issue and I sent it to be repainted problem solved. I am lowered 1.25 and so far so good my only concern is staying away from the parking curbs. The install was pretty easy but when I had to remove it for repaint I bought 8 rubber plugs with screws that fit through the holes and when tightened the rubber spreads keeping it tight, the only place I used the provided nut and bolt is on the corners in front of the tires. You really need small arms to reach up and place the nut on the bolt 10 times.

RPI ZL-1 Style here, only issue is is chips VERY easy.

I don't think it would survive hitting anything though.

Not true! Ask the raccoon I hit a month ago My RPI splitter won!

Now parking curbs are another story! I would stay away from them no matter what splitter you install. Especially if you have lowering springs.

As far as the chipping goes I sent mine for a repaint to a local shop. They took everything down to the glass and started over no problems with the chips now
