Small ZL1 Mod list questions..

Good Afternoon everyone,

So I am thinking about trading in my 2010 SS for a 2013 ZL1 (6Spd) here in a few months and Im not planning on modding the car too much simply because of how amazing it looks stock and the stock performance, but I just wanted some input on mod plans.

I was thinking of just doing col air induction intake, American racing 1 7/8 LT's w/ off-road connections, upper & lower pulley upgrades and of course upgraded injectors and a tune in this order. What kind of power gains would I see with these mods? what order should I do them in? Other recommendations?

Thanks!

the only item you would not need to tune the car would be the CAI possibly depending on which one you get. add a BAP to your list.
Id just buy all the parts as you can afford them and put it all on at once that way you only tune the car once.

I am happy with what I did- Jannetty Racing cam package and now I want more so I am doing ported blower/snout, E85, smaller upper pulley.

Jannetty has a non cam package that is easily upgraded by basically doing the cam. The non cam package is pretty much what you describe doing.

Looks like you have built your current car up well...Have you considered continuing to mod it or is your mind solely on trading up to the ZL1 and starting the modding process all over???

Hello and congrats on the upgrade to a ZL-1.

I would be happy to guide you on our quest for power, we offer plug and play DIY power packages in 50-75-100-125-150 and 200 RWHP over stock working with the stock long block and blower.

All packages come with FREE custom tuning if all parts are bought from JRE.

We set them up on stages so you can do a little at a time or do it all a once.

We believe we have the best most reliable power packages on the market today.

Feel free to give me a call to discuss your goals and budget for your build. 203-753-7223

Thank you for your business and your recommendation.

Yeah...I've put quite a lot of time and energy into my SS over the past year. Ive done a lot of research on the ZL1's and they fit what I want perfectly. The drivability, comfort, power and the tons of other features you don't get with an SS all are what reeled me in and I feel like my mind is set. Honestly I would probably only do CAI and headers and leave it at that for a good while before thinking about pulleys.. or maybe just do a rotofab cai for that whine...
