Will this address the supercharger rattle issue?

Guys/Galls:

I have a 2013 with 10,000 miles and the original supercharger (no problems yet). Will this upgrade from supercharges online address the rattle/bearing issue while allowing for pulley upgrades?

Yes, But depending on the pulley you will need different belt and a tune and possibly injectors.

What is the price?

And you still have to install it. If I were going to have to install it, I would do this:https://innovatorswest.com/1001-Blower-Pulley.html With this: http://www.ebay.com/itm/LSA-Supercha...-/192114633188 And this belt: http://www.ebay.com/itm/Gates-K08064...iRr_hg&vxp=mtr

While you will have to take the snout to a machine shop to have the old pulley press off, and the new one pressed on, you will merely need a $7.50 tube of Ultra Grey.

You will not need a tune provided "nothing" else is done to your car. Anything else, and you will require injectors. And that will require a tune, and definitely void the motor warranty. Technically the pulley and coupler will, but I doubt most would ever know it had been done.

BTW, most belt charts call for a 10mm bigger belt, but I have found this to fit best.

So your suggesting he goes with a 18% pulley and he does not need a tune?

Yes, even though folks here say no. The convention here is that 10% is the limit. While this would vary from car to car, and more over climate, I have found it conservative. A stock tuned ECU will not allow a 2.55" upper to damage your engine. I've done the same with a 9.1 lower. Also used a roto-fab with it for about 18 months, and about 75 passes on an 1/8 mile track. Now this, I would not recommend.

No mods means no mods. It does not mean you can not do the above, but you will need injectors, and then you will need a tune.

I would not suggest that isolator. The packaged offered is great for someone that wants the ease of doing it in their garage and does not have the time or desire to chase down a shop to do it for them.

If they do not have the relatively little time required to find someone to R&R the pulley, they sure as hell are not going to like all the time and effort required to R&R that snout. To say nothing of the extra time it took to earn the additional ~$550 to pay for the package.

But on a more enlightening note, what do you not like about that isolator?
