It was MY insertion of the 1SS to keep the initial price point down. Were I in a position of influence, I'd have the heated leather 'n such (essentially a 2SS-type option) as an OPTION. Take a look at the Survey Results, remembering it is "Multiple Choice". NOT everyone wants the 2SS...not by a long shot... You have greater success building things the way folks hope to buy 'em, and the "jury" here is sayin' ONE ESS ESS...as a "starting" point, 3 : 1...and close to 50% want more "steam", either way... OldScool, it would be suicidal to attach a certain ZEE badge to a vehicle that cannot hold its head up against the "obvious competition"... |

The thing is if we fixate on more power we may get nothing. A full bolton LS3 gets close to 500 HP or maybe a little more at the crank. I do not see a "Boss" running away from that. Besides that a "Boss" is very peaky and takes more skill to be faster. My thinking is that in the hands of two skilled drivers stock for stock the "Boss" may be a faster. We will not know until we see one. But in the hands of weekend warriors it will be a drivers race at a track day.
A 1SS 1LE will be an affordable Camaro with a world class suspension and a stronger rear and trans. A stroker, cammed, LS3 can be over 500 to the wheels. Who cares what the badge says. Build it.

I say don't build the 1LE. Bring on the Z/28.

A new poll. Vote up or down, no waffling. Maybe this one will decide.

They may just call it the Z28. Remember the original Z28 was nothing special in the power department. It was the balance that counted.

Bottom Line; the 1LE is a very good 1LE. Add the LS7 to the 1LE and it is a very good Z28.

Minus MRC. I think GM needs to remember that it is illegal.

^ I would think Pete could provide us with an easy enough change.

Think we should let Pete's stuff come standard and upgrade to MRC if one would like to.
