BACKSEAT PASSENGERS
Do you Allow them???
Past 2 weekends I had to be somewhat of a jerk to a few Buddies...YES my car has a back seat but its not for passengers sorry. Oh come on man I can fit , Ill sit sideways....UHHH NO!!! Just move your seat up a Little Ill squeeze.....NO!!!! ****UPDATE***** ADULT PASSSENGERS Children and Old Church Ladies DO NOT COUNT!!!!

Do I allow it? Yes. Does it happen often. No. I can think of maybe 4 times I've had more than 1 passenger with me. Hell I wouldn't want to be squished back there.

My kids.. would I take a passenger? As long as they were respectful enough to watch their feet climbing in/out. All my friends know how much it means to me, so I dont think I'd have any reason to say no, but honestly, the situation never really arises, so it isn't much of an issue regardless.

only time there was someone in the backseat was when i first got the car and took some of my friends for a ride. ever since then no one has been in the backseat. i would allow 1 person to sit behind the PASSENGER seat, but not behind my seat. im 6'3" and my seat has to be all the way back or else i won't feel comfortable driving.

I put my buddies back there all the time whenever we are going to a car show. No sense wasting gas for one of them to drive another car halfway across town.

Why wouldn't you allow someone to sit back there? It's a car, it has a rear seat.
If they're willing to sit back there and be horribly uncomfortable, that's their problem. Friday night I had myself, my best friend, and my dad all in my 2012. I would say each of us are about 230lbs each, my dad and my best friend are both taller than I am. My dad offered to sit in the back seat for a 30 mile drive. I felt really bad for him because I could see how uncomfortable he was, but he wouldn't have it any other way. We practically had to use a crowbar to get him out of the car when we got to our destination. 700lbs of human cargo, 5 camping chairs, a folding table, two winter coats (still gets really cold when the sun goes down), and a box of detailing supplies. On the way home I sat back there. That was on Friday and today I still have a kink in my lower back. I found it incredibly funny that I'm only 5'5'' and I had absolutely no head room in the car. If I had my head so that I was looking straight ahead of me, my head was wedged into the headliner. If I laid my head back onto the back of the seat and then tried to bring my head forward to look towards the front of the car, my forehead would hit the headliner and stop me from being able to look straight ahead... I had to lean to my right to be able to bring my head forward.
