Hi all,
My all stock ‘22 ZLE M6 (Green filter) gets 20-22 mpg on the freeway with steady CC at 70-72 mph. Around town in mixed traffic areas l’m averaging about 14-16 mpg. I do drive conservatively and pay attention to the throttle. My ‘18 ZLE M6 only got 14-16 mpg on the freeway at 70 mph and 12-14 around town. The ‘18 had a TM TB and Green filter to help drivability. It still ran so rich it blackened the exhaust tips after just a short drive, and still had a bad off-idle stumble. The ‘22’s ECM has obviously been updated and is like 10X improved over the ‘18. The ’22 runs much stronger and has better mileage and performance, IMO all due to the improved factory tuning. It has 2002 miles on it now and I have never had to clean out the exhaust tips. I’m extremely glad I got the new ’22. It runs like the ‘18 should have! I think the ‘22 is the best manual trans performance car I’ve ever driven/owned. Take care, JJ

Still no idea.... Tiny tank means plenty of fillups regardless. GM seems to like small gas tanks. My first ever GMC Sierra with a 6.2l has a small tank too.

Hmm, 19 gallons is tiny? The Mustang has a 16-gallon tank. My wife's SUV has a 22-gallon tank and it's a total guzzler. I think the Camaro has an adequately sized fuel tank.

Yeah, tank size ain’t small.
When I first got my 17 auto it already had LT’s, pullies, tune and bg and would get 25mpg on cruise at 65 mph. With it now cammed, ported and e65 it’s dropped to 19.5. Really pisses me off as I got it just for mileage runs while grabbing groceries… |

My best 25miles is over 26. I can get 5mpg more than Charger 392 on the same road to work. Having way more under right foot.
