Sorry, not really. Look at the color chart breakdown. It's been said a few times: Blue doesn't sell. Is it a nice colour? Yep, just not a lot of people like it enough to commit to buying it, otherwise it probably would have been another colour kicking the bucket.

That being said, driving by the Chevy lot and seeing a line of Camaros is starting to look pretty bland, now that the blue and green are missing. You've basically got 3 reds (IOM is Campbells Tomato soup red/orange) 2 silverish colors, yellow and black.

lol.....for some reason this was great news to me! There's nothing worse than a car pulling up next to yours that looks exactly the same.....it's a relief, keep changing colors GM....makes every1 unique...if we all wanted to be the same we would drive a Camry....

cars are like women, some are old, some are new, some get turned on easily some need a lot more help, some you just wanna drive into the river, some you can't wait to get inside of, some are expensive to maintain, some are low maintenance, however if you treat them right, you'll have her for the rest of your life.....

Every comment from females i get regarding the car is how amazed they are with the color of the paint, how it reflects, changes colors. Reaction has been more than positive.
That tells me all i will ever need to know about choosing a good color.

I tell my wife the same thing about IOM..looks exactly like Campbells Tomato Soup. I much prefer the Hugger Orange color or even something closer to the Tennessee Volunteer orange. There is a poster of a ZL1 between two 18 wheelers called "hanging tough" and that orange looks awesome on that car!! I don't think its IOM, if it is...it must be the lighting, texture or...the ZL1 just looking mean as hell!

Topaz blue on the Cruze would be a cool color replacement.

Look at the Fiesta. New model, bright new colors (Lime squeeze, etc) I DD f150s, and i love my Blue flame. (Keep in mind, this is cloudy day, you should see it in the sun. It's a lot like Stryker Blue from the g8s.)

I feel bad for everyone that wanted an IBM car. We went through the same thing a when GM discontinued ABM.

Wow. No blue of any kind offered for any 2012 Camaro.

That's extremely disappointing for a corporation as big as GM. That may push a few buyers toward other brands.

Just plain sad.

The numbers are the result of dealer ordering, by and large. And dealers order what they think is "safe", like EVERYTHING with black interior. Look at any large parking lot and see all the silver, white, blah and bland nothing colors. These are the cars people found when they went to buy. Imagine how many more sales dealers could realize if the ordering process wasn't so restrictive and agonizingly slow.

I agree with you to some extent. IOM does look reddish on overcast days, but in the sun it is definitely orange. Its hard to capture the color, most pictures people post of IOM on here are horrible, they look very red. Here is an older untouched shot of my IOM in the bright AZ sun. A good camera helps.

If GM hadn't dropped rally yellow on Monte Carlos in 2006, i'd be driving an 06/7 RY Monte Carlo SS right now instead of the Camaro...and be kicking myself for it everyday

Yeah...it does vary from pic to pic but when i see it in person...that's when I've noticed the striking resemblence to Campbell's Tomato Soup. I'm not trying to offend anyone...just saying I like other shades of orange better. There is too much red in the IOM. I like the orange on the challenger better.

I'm not so upset about IBM going away.
But there should be dusk blue or another blue to replace it.

What is a bigger problem is that GM is not offering basic black on some cars this year. Only a black metallic. Black should always be available.
