Kenwood and Capacitors
I wondering if anyone has expertise on Kenwood amps here? I have a Kenwood KAC-8452 four channel amp that I am wanting to use to replace the stock BA amp.
I currently have the X3 harness powering a Rockford Fosgate amp for the subs. I ordered the FARK harness and decided its time to upgrade the stock amp also. The Kenwood specs are 70watts RMS @ 4ohms or 100watts RMS @ 2ohms. I remember reading somewhere that the stock BA speakers are 2ohms? I am not sure of the Line Out for another amp? It has RCA IN jacks for A and B. It also has a set for LINE OUT A&B. Is this the pass thru? The description in the manual says:"These jacks output respectively the signals input to amplifiers A and B. They always output the stereo signals regardless of the position of the operation switch." I just want to make sure I can power My Sub Amp off of them with a clean signal? Also with this amp and a 1000 watt sub amp do I need to install a capacitor for the power consumption?

The camaro's electrical system is pretty decent, cap is probably unnecessary.
