Goon Question ....

A question for the drivers,

When doing a burnout what are your technics for keeping the car rolling forward straight? (Throttle control, Brake control)

I can get some good ones but toward the end can get sketchy

While not necessarily to your question - I've seen some say it's not good to shift gears (A10) during shifts, so that might be something to look into, too.

I think you just have to steer into the direction the car's going, and probably add a little brake.

Also, I shift manually, keep the rpms relatively steady with the throttle, and modulate brake pressure to keep a given roll forward speed. Theoretically speaking, of course.

(Unlike yours, my car does not have line lock.)

Don't spin them so fast. faster spin = less grip = more movement side to side.

When typing the thread title did you accidentally hit the G key instead of the H? I think you can fix that in edit.

Nothing wrong with little rubber black stripes left on the road

But around here some call that Guy a "goon" for doing it?

I for one think a little rolling burnout from time to time is good for the soul
