The horsepower gain unfortunatly is going to be very negligble, especially just being an axle back. This exhuast is very nice from SLP, but do not expect any considerable gains and horsepower.

You will achieve more power, horsepower and torque from a set of long tube headers, and connecting pipes (X-pipe or H-pipe), the axle back is really to give the car some tone!

yea the only real gain from an axle-back is the exhaust note.

You could install the Powerflo axleback and mid-pipe....Then you could see a nice gain....Then in the future you could add the headers!

If you have questions or need more info feel free to get in touch with me. I will hook you up.

Bump.

I need to at least get an axle-back soon to clean up the back end a bit and slightly increase sound. SLP LM II or SLP Powerflo? Which is louder? Which has a *deeper sound?

I know this. lol Money's an issue as of right now and a full exhaust/tune isn't in my budget currently.

But, here's the question: Which has a deeper sound - LM II or PowerFlo?

LM II is very deep and slightly louder. Definitely the more aggressive of the two.
If I remember correctly is has less sound dampening.
Go here to compare both:

LM has no muffler, LMII has small thru flow design and the powerflow uses a larger muffler. Each one is quieter than the one before.

Yea, I've seen the videos, but it's so hard to compare using videos.

Why is the Powerflo so much more expensive? Extra material? That's probably the case, but it's not that much more material to cost $100 more.
