LG Motorsports G6X3 with F1A Procharger

Finishing up a 2011 SS for one of our great customers this week.

As a continuing build on his SS to push the envelope a bit further we decided to go Procharged for the next step in the build process.

Specs before the blower install
  • LG Super Pro Long Tubes and exhaust
  • LG G5 Velocity CAI
  • LG G6X3 cam kit
  • LG ported LS3 heads (11.4:1 compression)
  • FAST 102 intake
  • NW 102 TB
  • ASP underdrive
  • Centerforce DYAD clutch
  • DSS shaft and axles
  • Weld RTS wheels
  • 93 pump gas

Before blower numbers vs how it first arrived to us. (517 rwhp)

The above graph was how the car arrived to us about a year ago vs the install of the FAST 102 combo, G6X3 cam, LG ported LS3 heads, and full LG Super Pro exhaust. As you can see it would a stout NA build from the get go, and all components were left un-touched before the blower install.

MORE POWER NEEDED!!!!

Procharger front mount 3 core intercooler

F1A Head unit going on

Race by-pass valve

F1A kit finished.

Alky Controls Methanol kit going in

The car is still running on 93 pump gas with the same heads and cam...for those of you that don't think you can force a G6X3

Walk around

Leaving the shop

i remember this car in some of the youtube vids.. it was nasty just as a n/a setup! look forward to seeing numbers. And i also feel better going boost at 11:1 compression lol.

do you think that this procharger kit will have any issues rusting with the meth? i saw a thread on here where a guy's piping rusted up running meth with a d1sc kit.

is this the 1300 hp race intercooler? or which is it. I like that it does not block the entire radiator.

Yes that is the race intercooler and it does a much better job than the standard one as far as intake temps go.

Given how he uses the car.....I don't know if it will sit long enough to rust anything.

I'll check it over in a few weeks and see. It comes in for regular maintenance so I see the car on a fairly regular basis.

Cams are so funny at times. Birm and I had the same cam TSP 231/236 lsa 112 NA cam. I swapped my cam out and he didn't, Matt from FSP still made over 700 rwhp with a ECS kit on Birms car.
