Not too sure about this decision. I would keep the GT500 and wait it out for the Z28

not always. but the point i was making is that there's better things that require money to be spent found in the mustang.

case in point, the eps on the gt500. tons better then the hydraulic setup found on the 2010/2011 camaro.

just one example, but a good one as to why the gt500 costs more then the camaro and in alot of ways is better.

i get your guys' point about bigger price tags not always being better values but until some of you posting with car envy have owned both a 2011 gt500 and a 2SS 5th gen; your points of comparison are mute.
True. Before I owned my 1SS I drove a v6 Mustang. And my goal was by the time I got out of the military (2013) I would own a 2012 Shelby or whatever Mustang equivalent there would be at the time. Was saving my pennies for it! Then I had an opportunity to be a part of the filming of Transformers 2 and see/be around the new Camaro Concept for the month and a half they were filming down here at White Sands and absolutely fell in love with the looks of the car. So much that I bought an SS now instead of waiting another couple years til I could really afford the Shelby I wanted.

The numbers don't lie the gt500 is a better car. However I am extremely happy with my Camaro and will not consider trading back for a Mustang. I have thought about a Z28 upgrade when it comes out but then again it would probably break my bank.

Ok my point is that I like the gt500 and it is a better performing car, I just like the Camaro more

I drive the Daytona 2010 l99 Camaro SS for work and enjoy that car more than my own for some reason. The interior doesn't bother me and the lower monthly payment, gas, and insurance will let me save up to put a bigger deposit down on a z28

I love my 2SS RS but it's a serious downgrade compared to a GT500. You might be
complaining about rattles and such, but the Camaro hasn't been out long enough to
know if it's gonna be a rattler also. I'm sure it will follow every other F body. And that's
a lot of power and handling your giving up. Not so sure if you'll like AFM either and
would be willing to tune it out vs warranty. I know I hate it with a passion

I still love my 2SS minus the AFM,but a GT500 is pure heaven.

tell those guys to detail that damn thing more often.... we were there during bike week and it had an inch of dust on it and people were writing all over it with their fingers..... ISC has enough money to have someone clean that thing once in awhile

He's having financial problems and/or wants an automatic transmission.

Wait... you're suggesting people actually read a thread before they post?
