I'd bet on the Z/28 having a unique grill (much like the ZL1). I'd also bet on the different grills being interchangable. I think if I were going to buy a MY14 i'd get a non-RS SS and then do a grill swap.

As far as the poll goes:

w/RS package - disappointment

Z/28 (possibly non-RS SS/V6) - cool

After looking at more of the auto show pics today, the entire look is starting to grow on me. I do think they did a good job overall. Granted, I really like the original 5th Gen look, but I am appreciating the refresh more.

It could be, the diamond style grid in the Z28 looks really thin, maybe another place they saved a few ounces?

me personally have mixed feelings about it
Car companies do this all the time, they come out with a really cool vehicle and after a few years the screw it up. New Corvette "fail", new Camaro "fail".

For me the only thing cool about it is the z28 with ls7 engine. Front bumper looks like a mustang and taillights looks like honda prelude.

Possibly. If so, I have no doubt aftermarket can give us a Z/28-clone grill or something just as cool.

I would bet that will be the standard grill for the Z/28. The other pics with the SS will be the standard grill. I'm glad they went with a different grill for the Z/28, it really separates it from the rest of the Camaro pack. I'm sure it will be available to order for those that want to swap out onto their '14's.

Well I read in one of these threads that the RS package had a different grille. So now I am wondering is that the non RS grille or one special for the Z/28? The diamond grid in the Z/28 grille does look very thin, it could be that way because the saved a few ounces of weight...

I just really think the original 5th Gen look better, I do not like the rear end and the hood heat extractor looks odd to me. Would of looked better with a ZL1 type arrangement to me. The front bumper looks ok if it did not have the chrome trim piece.

I think the non-RS cars might look OK.

I hated it when I saw the pic from the TV show. After watching the live showing and seeing all the hi res pics, my mind has completely changed. I think it really looks good. The only thing I absolutely detest is the chrome eyebrow on the SS, it baffles me why its there.

A Kinetic Blue SS/RS with Recaro's and the 19" black Z/28 wheels I might be perfection. Its a shame they wont offer the Kinetic.

That's a very keen observation and good point
