Can you put in an RGB LED to tie into a Night Owl controller? I haven't taken my dome light apart yet.

Congrats. To finish the job, swap the license plate and trunk light LEDs...makes a huge difference!

I replaced all mine with LED(dome,trunk, license plate) much better!! I bought all mine thru phastek performance

Definitely makes a night and day difference. I have had a few different versions and am now running an RGB dome light (not tied into my NightOwl system though).

If I may suggest DiodeDynamics.com. They are a sponsor on the forum and warranty their product. I got dome, trunk and license plate LEDs and the price is right.

Also if you get the license plate bulbs I suggest the Stage 2 or 3 bulbs. The Stage1 don't seem to hit the right side of the plate for my liking and some other said the same but the Stage 2 and 3 give you full cover and the only difference is the brightness. I had the Stage1 bulbs and didn't care for them and they sent replacements at no charge. I offered to send the originals back but they told me to keep them. Great customer service, fast shipping and Nick will take care of your needs.

I bought AAC. But that's the fun of shopping, check around for the deal.

I got the 9-LED (white) dome light, trunk interior LED, and LED tag lights. The dome light is very bright but I like it like that.
