Claying Question??
I clayed the car today and notice a lot of high / low spots on the car.... I didn't use pressure when I clayed.... Just kept going over until it was smooth.... But after I wiped the detail spray off..... there were shiny and dull spots?? Is this normal???? Any input is greatly appreciated

It's not likely that you marred the paint if you used a fine grade clay with light pressure. Pics would be helpful.

My guess if it's dull it's because you have some clay residue left on the paint, not having the area lubed well will that.

The entire purpose of claying is to remove the dirt from the paint and put it in the clay.

I'm on my phone so I can't see it that well, but that looks like residue of some sort. What have you tried to remedy it?
