I agree. My point was if you're going to spend the money on a forged 427 with 6 bolt heads and low compression, give it all the boost. Personally I'd dump the Procharger and go TT, but I'm a little biased. Best of luck to the OP, I hope it performs to his expectations.

That said I am guessing you will be in the 850-875 hp range.

Yeah thats why I went with the procharger setup all I have to do is notch my strut tower to fit a F1X and retune. As a full interior street car with a/c I think 800s will be good. When (not if) the bug bites to go bigger its a cheap upgrade to 4 digits.

I am a total procharger nutswinger, ever since my first p1sc on my old silverado. I mean I get why everyone goes turbos anymore due to the efficient power, I am more comfortable with s/c because my experience with them and the reliability plus with a F1X eventually I will make more than I ever need for a street car, hell the F1A will be more than needed for a street car.

Today I put 5 gallons of 91 in her (ERL says not to break in on E-85), then grounded the harness for my squash system. Put on accessory and heard the pumps kick on and the regulator for the first time, caught a couple small few leaks from my rail crossover not being snug enough and my feed line to the rails. After squaring that away. I turned it over and it fired right up running like shit of course on my old nitrous tune. I didn't think it would fire, but I am sure my neighbors loved the misfiring open headers noise. Good news is it runs and has great oil pressure.

Congrats on getting it going! I’m sure the neighbors love ya. Like a little kid waiting to open his Christmas Gifts here. A few more days and it heads out for the D1X Install.

are you staying with 3.45 gears or are you going back to 3.45 gears from something else?
