Bringing this back from the dead, thinking of throwing on the smaller pulley going from the 3.85 to the 3.55 making around 15-16lbs of boost on the 3.85 wondering how much of a difference I would see power wise and if it effects the RPM the boost starts to kick in.

Yeah, been a couple of years. I am back too after a long break with some ideas of tweaking my set up.
So whatever happened to your air flow issue? Did that get resolved? It's been a while, you ready for the F-1X upgrade?

I added the 2 inch headers this year and re-did the whole exhaust, haven't found a solution other than pulling the filter when I need the extra power. Definitely ready to upgrade to the F1-X when the pocketbook allows for it, need to see if I would have to swap to a cog drive or if I could use a 12 rib pulley.

What crank did you go with?
How do you like the Holley Sniper. Any rattling noise?

The sniper is garbage, grade A you get what you pay for garbage. Had to have it machined to funciton properly, MAP sensor placement is garbage. Only saving grace is they screwed up and drop shipped me 2 so I basically got it for free. I am using the procharger 12 rib pulley bolted to my ATI balancer. I have the Callies Dragonslayer as an actual crank if thats what you were asking.

Was thinking about doing a 427 stroked to a 441 but unable to find parts and I am hearing that the reg 427 LSX will basically take about all of the boost you cant toss at it. The F-1X is capable of ~35 psi but I am thinking 24-25 psi on E85 should get me 1300+ hp which is enough for this old man.
I will be going with the Dragon Slayer too

This build should hold up to over 25lbs minus the only factory piece still in play. the trans. I want an auto swap when a solid way to make a built A10 work in my setup comes out. Tired of rowing gears poorly. That and just running a F1-X on a 12 rib with a 4 inch would be the end of it, anything more will be for a dedicated race car build that won't be a late model car with 19k on the body and 6k miles on the build.

I missed so much while I was recovering...
Wow, I enjoyed reading this entire thread... I hear you on the rowing gears... i considered an automatic, 400 with a gear vendors overdrive, but would rather have a PPG, though my car made the 99% race car a while back... Before I got sick, I was doing maybe a couple hundred miles a year on the street...
