3D printed sunvisor Go-Pro mount
Hi all,
not everyone reads the Z/28 section so may not have seen my thread I've created a clever new little 3D-printed product that may be of interest. Direct replacement for the OEM sun visor mount which also encorporates a mount for a GoPro camera. The flip down and unclip action of the sun visor works exactly as before. I did it in purple so it would photograph better, but I can have these made in any colour. I plan to do the first batch in black. I'm still working out the exact pricing, but I think I'll be able to do them around $25 posted to the mainland USA. Which is me making minimal profit after taking into account printing time, de-flashing the parts and posting them out, but I thought they were too nice not to offer a few to the Camaro5 community which has given me a lot of ideas and inspiration the past couple of years Please reply or PM if you're interested. Or if you have any other 3D printing requests I may be able to help (so far with the help of my friends at www.elementary3D.com we've done steering wheel insert, brake ducts, front grille trims etc for my car) cheers, Patrick |

Thanks for the replies and PMs everyone.
I'll probably only do one batch of these as deflashing them is quite time consuming, so I'd prefer to do that all in one go. we've worked out the most we can fit on the print bed is 24. 15 are spoken for now by those who have commented or messaged me so if anyone else wants one please let me know ASAP. We're going to start the print this weekend, it will take about 24 hours to print! This batch will be done in Black. |

Put me down for one please. Frickin' ingenious!!
Question, do you have any videos posted where this piece was used? To sort of show what the video looks and sounds like in this position. I don't even have a goPro but its next on the list for events this year. Thanks

Is the file open source? Would you consider providing the file so I could print one myself? I'd still pay you but get more enjoyment out of the DIY aspect of making use of my 3d printer. If not I completely understand.
