Price Check
Hey All. I am possibly needing to part with my 15 1/LE and wondering if you guys can give me a realistic valuation.
2015 2SS RS 6,400 miles all options besides Recaro and MoonRoof. Located in San Diego if that is of any help. Thanks in advance. |

That is going be easy to sell ,low miles and well optioned. I'm going to guess $29000.00 $32000.00 providing the tires are not worn out. The Calli sales tax is a bitch ,a private sale in AZ has no sales tax , you may want to consider selling it to an out of state buyer to save them the sales tax.

I'd start at $29,995 and take no less than 29k.

Thanks for the responses. I was thinking 27ish so I am glad to hear 29 or so doesn't seem out of the ballpark.

Yes on NPP.
I did a check on KBB but wanted some more real world experience. I know KBB is the standard but not necessarily what people are actually fetching. I believe the trade in on KBB was 28ish which seems high from what others have been quoted. |

I think $26-27k would be fine. At $30k your getting very close to ZL1 pricing

A pal in the Bay Area sold his 15 1LE/2SS/RS/NPP/Recaro with 5K miles on it in December to a private party. Sold for $29 K.

I would be content to get $29K with an otherwise stock or slightly modded 2015.

Gen 5 1LE's have been holding strong at 30k. Great car and parts o plenty and affordable oem and upgrades available.
Gen 5 zl1's have been holding strong at 40k. Same thing..parts o plenty etc. Gen 5 z28 .. forgetaboutit!!! Major price drop. I almost bought one when a local dealer had a 20k off sticker and I'm happy I held myself back.. With the price drop from 70k down to 40k I see people snatching them up. But there is a major downside to the z28 and that is redonkuless cost on parts if you can even get parts. With parts so far and few and hard to get now , just think what it will be like 10-20 years from now. Sure a no miles on the car all oem parts will probably be worth good money 30 years from now but I couldn't have a car in my garage that was a nick nack for years on end. Lol

I just looked at a mint 14 with 3k miles. The dealer was no haggle and had it priced at 31,998.
I offered 27,500, but being no haggle they said no thanks.. I know they bought it in probably around 26 or so. Any idea's on true pricing? |

While I was shopping for my Camaro, I came across a 2013 ZL1 priced at $29,998. It was beat up though, and with 60,xxx miles. Minor body damage, lots of cigarette burns on the drivers side c-pillar and all over the roof liner. Yeah though, if you found a ZL1 at the price you say you did, and everything checks out, jump on it. |
