#1 Thing to add or change?

See everyone is personalizing the rides. Which I can appreciate just have always been a minamilist myself. Some cars just speak for themselves to me. Sometimes just stare at it with amazement. I am totally changing out that sorry thing of a BA radio. If I was BA I would be ashamed to have my name on such a poor system paper woofers premium radio Blah. Anyway back to it other then the radio if you could only make 1 addition what would it be?

Send to Hennessy also not a option.

The radio is amazing! I don't see a need for a change. The head unit is also packed with technology. I am gonna tint the windows, add a clear bra and be done with it.

Funny how everyone sees things so differently. Just above, one loves the radio and the other thinks its junk. Now for a third thought, I rarely ever turn the radio on, I actually just love the sound of the engine and exhaust. My favorite is letting off the accelerator and hearing those big ol popping thunderous bangs. Wow, what a great sound!

Agreed, and when you add a Roto Fab CAI you can hear the sweet sound of that supercharger whining away.

Agree on the sound of the car. Just roll down the windows and let her rip. Can't wait for winter to end. Was just on Roto site like the intake but what about the big gulp addition. Kind of understand about adjusting but why wouldn't they just make it larger and send more air to the brake and intake at the same time. EvlZL1 you got your covers done by Lupe thought I saw them on another thread? My stock radio from my 2000 Nissan Xterra sounds better thats pretty sad.

Sounds like you give it a thumbs up. I'm thinking about it, also adds a little more horsepower I imagine.

With my 2012 Radio I would like to get rid of it. I think the 2013 radio upgrade would look better. I am thinking about getting the alpine 910 with a Metra kit. Who has knowledge about this set up.

Got a 2013 the headunit with the sat nav it is pretty nice never got to see the 2012. The head unit is actually the only thing that I am going to try to keep. Changing speakers, amp, and adding Subwoofer. Going with all JL audio right now Except for MS-8 from JBL. It is a sound processor the competion guys seem to love them. I have heard you can just buy it and that it will even make the stock systems come alive.

No doubt an aftermarket sound system would be amazing in this car; however, the required juice needed to push the amplifier and speakers will undoubtedly reek havoc on the alternator and cut it's life span by less than half. I had this happen to me too many times with a relatively new car failing me when I needed it most and least expected it. Maybe GM has beefed up the alternators they use and this is no longer a problem in the world of aftermarket sound systems.

For me there were two must add things.

1. black out or change gold badging. hated it
2. rotofab intake.

I do not like the sound of the stereo and will change out the BA amp. I just don't see it as some kind of must.

I also feel like pulley is also a must at some point. I really like the way the car pulls now. you know the car is an 11 second car now. where stock if just felt like more like my 08 Z51 I had ijn acceleraton with better handling.

Poor hearing, so an upgraded stereo would be useless for me.
Love the RotoFab CAI!
G8 Clutch Fluid Reservoir
Planning to change to Hawk Ceramic Pads (ordered) - I HATE all the dust from the OE Pads
ABM Color Footwell Lights, front and back from AAC
Catch Can - this car is less problematic than my 10 SS LS3 was - yeaaaaa!
