SW retro chambered or Corsa? Can't decide. Opinions needed
2ss. Will not be adding LT anytime soon so trying to decide on which one for now. Does anyone also know if you will lose a little hp with the stainless
Works retro? |

Corsa FTMFW! And no loss of HP with either, maybe 2-3 hp gain from the weight loss.

I vote Retro Chambered. You will not lose power with it. You will shed a lot of weight.

I'm looking for something that's load as possible with very little to no drone with good sound. I know corsa is kinda quite but no drone. Is SW drone free for the most part?

Forgot to mention car is L99. I will get the AFM blocker so that shouldn't be a problem.

Apex Chase... Thanks for the reply. I was hoping you would chime in since I seen some of your post about it. My main concern was drone and possible loss of power. I will order from you once I get my catch can with braided lines that's on back order. (apex can). Doing one project at a time. I have been stuck on Corsa for so long until I found your post and videos of the SW. Love the sound but videos are hard to determine the loudness.

I'm glad I came across this thread, I was debating between the SW or Corsa. I want to keep my car sounding stock as much as possible, make it a sleeper type of setup. If the SW cat back is considerably louder then I might just have to go with Corsa.

The SW definitely does not fall into the sleeper category.

I bought my SW Retro-Chambered from Chase.....It is the ONE thing on my car that I don't ever think I will ever change!!! It is completely awesome!!! This exhaust system and Chase both get my highest recommendations!!!

Keep in mind these are two completely different sounds. Corsa has a very unique yet raspy tone that usually gets the love it or hate it label. Stainless Works is a 3" system and offers a deeper tone and is probably a bit more aggressive then the Corsa M6 system. After adding headers they will both be very aggressive. They are both drone free for the most part.
