It was a So Cal dyno day yesterday. Thanks to Shawn for letting us invade the place.

Bone stock, started doing 6K shifts after 500 miles. Dyno-ed at 1,000 miles. Time for some bolts on for Christmas

Post Ronnies Black SS

Guys,
I had my SS tuned after I installed an MTI cold air intake and American Racing Headers with 3" exhaust plus LMP Mufflers and Dyno numbers were 367.02 rwhp and 386.08 torque. This was with less than 1500 miles on the odometer.

I had Kooks LT headers and Highflow cats installed. I already had Solo MachX and CAI inc intake.

Base line pull was 303hp and 350 tq corrected stingy dyno. I was not concerned with the numbers but I was interested in the Delta (difference from base to final).

After headers and a tune, final numbers were 367 (64 hp gain) and 402 Tq (52 tq Gain).

The transmission tune with Torque Management turned off is amazing, shifts like it should have from the factory. Does not have that lag between gears.

The above is my experience, Tuner was very impressed with the combo of parts. He did not expect these number as stated earlier his dyno is stingy.

Dyno Pull

Here is mine. Can anybody explain this to me. It is way down from what I have seen from others. Plus, it is a very rough pull and not smooth like the others.

It looks like your AFR is 15. That is too lean from everything that I have read, except at very low speeds where you are not making much hp.

That AFR line is so steady, I don't think it's a real measurement.

You need to do the fuse pull mod.

It isn't it was like that when they first hooked it up. They never stuck a wand in the tail pipe.

So no AFR was checked.
