Any word on paint dilemma?
Any developments on the paint dilemma right bow? Eta for restraint lift or word of new colors?

That reminds me, there is no constraint on IOM right? I'm at 3300 and have a TPW of June 6th, and no one has mentioned that there might be delays because of the metallic paint shortage.
I'm in the clear right? |

Yes I believe you are. I have IOM as well with today as a TPW and asked the same thing. I was told I am in the clear.

I wonder if we will be able to order a constraint color on the 19th (may) and let the order just sit there until paint is ready? Also, I wonder if they will just add new colors altogether?

I posted on the main forum that Autoblog is reporting that the factory in Japan that is responsible for making the metallic element in the paint has now reopened. You will find a link to the story in that post or just head on over to Autoblog

I doubt the 2011's will get built with these colors. Thats a short time frame to get production started and shipped to GM to hit the end of the 2011 model year.
