For those craving a 1:18 scale ZL1....

The 1:18 scale resin models from Luxury will be available for shipment on July 15, 2013. Limited to 25 each of the following 4 colors:
Victory Red, Silver Ice Metallic, Rally Yellow and Black.

For that kind of money, you'd think they'd be a bit more durable or be shed in the best possible light. The side mirrors on the promotional photos are way out of whack on some. And that's what they entice buyers with? And I agree on the tires. Those look like they came from a John Deere collection. The paint and some other details look good though.

If that's their "most authentic" model at $300, then maybe it's good they're limiting it to 25 per color run. I think I'll pass.

Definitely not a Minichamps quality or detail for that price! No thanks, 300 dollars can be applied towards replacement seats in my car. Too much for too little. When you pay that amount of money for that scale car it should be flawless. Take it from someone that grew up assembling 1:12 scale Tamiya models.

Looks like they cleaned up their act on the quality.

Also, it appears you can get these cheaper directly from China.
