Same form weather bug on my iPhone, and it says thunderstorms all day long.

Weatherbug on my phone is showing heavy in the afternoon, but decent in the morning. Weather underground is similar.

The last time we had a forecast of 100% rain in our area it was literally the prettiest day of the week. Weather in our area is a crapshoot all the time.

Steeda has said the event won't be rescheduled. If you are coming for the racing, then maybe it's not worth the trip. The purses are not big, so it's pretty much just for bragging rights. But for our group, the racing has always been just a part of this event, so we are still going to make the most of it. I have a feeling that for the most part, everything will be great.

What time does the racing get started on Sat? If I end up not going and then forcast changes on Sat I could still leave early Sat morn and drive up. Im hoping for the best so have not cancelled yet.

Racing starts early....like 9 a.m. If you wait til Saturday....you will have already missed half the fun. Come on up and enjoy Friday night, maybe a little racing, then cancel the second hotel night and head home early.

I'm planning on going even if we spend Saturday hanging around the hotel. The party is worth the trip. If we do get to race, I'll consider it an extra added attraction.
