What to use on black ZL1 wheels?

As the factory 10 spoke black rims are painted, can they be waxed? Is there a specific product that fellow members use that they would recommend?

Thanks in advance.

I use Eagle One Wax As You Dry. Spray on a clean rag and wipe down the wheels, it contains carnauba wax and leaves a nice finish.

Has anyone used Adams Deep Wheel Cleaner to help remove the brake dust?

I use it all the time on my polished 5-apoke wheels.

I use it all the time and it works great. Here is a video I did for an Adam's commercial contest. It's a bit goofy but it was fun to make and you can see the cleaner in action on a ZL1!

I stopped using the Adams Wheel cleaner. Maybe I wasn't using it right but on my Raptor the wheels were painted and machined and I started to notice the paint finish was deteriorating. now I just use Adams detail pray and a micro fiber cloth to clean wheels.

Car wash soap of your choice in a spray bottle, 5oz soap in 25oz bottle mix and you are good to go!
I use duragloss soap.

I find wheel cleaners too harsh over the long haul.

Adams green wheel cleaner here, and their spray wax after.

Then covered in brake dust 5 miles later.....

Be careful with the products that claim to reduce brake dust. I made the mistake of spraying that on a wet wheel and it left white spots all over the wheels. I spent over an hour trying to clean that off and was not 100% successful. If you use it, make sure the wheels are dry.

Adams quick sealant makes black wheels look great as a final and top coat too, plus it protects from brake dust sticking to the wheel.
