In and out. 6:45 to 1:00 pm. It was this morning. They used the Divinche Machine. 4 small holes. I'm pretty sore but can walk around. Hurts like hell to go from sitting to standing though.

Based on the thread title, I was expecting to see a picture of the offending gall bladder.
 The machine really makes for minimally invasive surgery. Laparoscopic is definitely the way to go. You'll be pretty sore for a while, so take it easy, no heavy lifting for a few weeks. Did they put you on a low fat high-fiber diet?

I signed the papers to let students watch and take pics. I also asked the doc if I could get pics from the operation. My follow up is next Monday. Doc said mine was very large, so much so they had a hard time getting it out. It has been broken since November. Basically just stopped contracting. So its been swelling bigger and bigger. No stones, just didn't work anymore. Hopefully they give me some good pics.

They did. That's where they pulled it out from. It's just swollen and you can't see the cut. I sure can feel it though.

Still got a few days before my follow up. My belly button area did get very sore though. They said it is normal because of the size of my gallbladder. It was like having a baby, small hole, big object.
This was at 5 days after surgery.  Today I'm feeling good. Back at the office but on light duty. Actually came back yesterday. I'll make sure and update when I get back from my follow up. No diet restrictions, not even on day one. Doc told to to go eat whatever I want, that my body will adapt to it not being there. - Clayton. Official C5Fail4 hater.
