M6 to TH400 Swap
My car is primarily a drag car and I am in the process of swapping out the manual 6 speed for a custom built TH400. I have seen where several people on here have done it and want to see how everyone finished it. I got everything hooked up and ready to go, started the car and it fired right off and then died. I am assuming it is a safety built in that is killing the car. Any help or complete threads where someone else has done this swap and how they bypassed everything? I have HP tuners on it as well so I can go in and program, just need to know where to start.
I appreciate any and all help in advance and hope that someone on here can help me out. Thanks and hope everyone is having a great weekend!!!

Call Vengeance Racing in Atlanta. They have done several ZL1 M6 to TH400 swaps. I’m sure they can lead in the right direction

Nothing like that for the 400 swap here.

Did you leave the pedal in the car?
Mine is a 2010 and thats all I did. Everything that was plugged up to the M6 is just wrapped up out of the way except the temp sensor. |

No issues like that here. I had trouble getting it to start since I hadn't disabled the clutch switch but when it did crank it fired up just fine. Any chance anything with the engine got unplugged?

I just stuck an old brake switch in there, held the key forward and rotated the switch until it started. When I had it tuned we just deactivated it.

In curiosity, what is average cost for the swap?
I won’t be swapping my 1LE but do have plans to build a gen5 SS or Zl1 10-15 at some point, so knowing the cost on this type of swap would be great and helpful. Thanks in advance.

Done it over here in Germany ... first we wrapped the clutch pedal sensor with tape, but it's way easier to programm it out with HP Tuners or so
