Dyno error?

I'm trying to find some reason or logic for what happened the other night so hopefully someone can shed some light..

I went to a car show where they had a mobile dynojet dyno.. my car is an l99 twin rear mount turbo.. 4400lb vert pushing 7psi of boost at 11.0 ish afr around 14 degrees final timing.. the car has never been on a dyno

I destroy the newer corvettes all day long, it's not even close..

They said 385rwhp... to me that doesn't make sense.
What are the options here?

What were other cars measuring at? Were they way off as well ??

Did the dyno chart have a reasonable looking curve shape for both HP and Tq ?

Does it matter what gear the car was in? If so, perhaps they made a mistake and it was in the wrong gear?

Perhaps they discovered a mistake with your run afterwards and corrected it for the rest of the runs?

Maybe they made a mistake and the results they gave you were for the last car that had run on the dyno the last time they used it.

Regardless, if they told you the results then and there, I'd ask for another run to verify the results. Most dyno runs include two runs back to back. Then they report the better of the two.

I paid for 2 runs, I ran 4 back to back.. they wanted me to do a 5th but I didn't want to beat the shit out of my car... the numbers were not changing and I didn't want to flog a dead horse.

Were your tires spinning on the dyno?

Were you operating the car..... to what RPM did you make your pulls....and in what gear... Rear mount, (trunk area) turbos take a while to spool, and if you shut down early then you might not have ever gotten into the sweet spot....

or....

Their junk was off....Them having 4 pulls performed and wanting a 5th tells me their junk was not calibrated....

Ok...

So, (RPMxTorque) / 5252 =HP

You gave us a HP of 385. Working this backwards and making some assumptions.... Here is your torque...

HP x 5252 / RPM = Torque
385 x 5252 / 4000 = T
2022020 / 4000 = 505

2022020 / 4500 = 449

2022020 / 5000 = 404

2022020 / 5500 = 367

2022020 / 6000 = 337

2022020 / 6500 = 311

Without a dyno printout or screenshot showing actual references this is a best guess. With MPH and max torque on a graph, it could be worked out provided your trans and diff gears are factory, or these are known numbers....

My best guess is their stuff wasn't working correctly.... I say this because with rear mount turbos, you won't make max torque at 4000 rpm.... I'm thinking your max torque would be in the 5000 - 5500 rpm range, but I might be very wrong.... We need more information...

Having said all that, if you are smoking newer Vettes easily, their numbers were way off....

Yes your into a dyno that's worthless but for some stupid bragging rights well there you go; all HP numbers are figured off the torque and almost all dynojets are non load bearing so they usually if not made just right by the operator can inflate numbers. Every dyno has to have correction factors correlating the thing due to temperature humidity and elevation also and who knows what that was or what the sheet would have looked like …….and 11 AFR is really not so good.... Stoich being 14.7 most go rich to about 12.7ish for WOT.... how the numbers so messed up?????/ most likely a combination of crap....and 7 psi not much you don't mention what other mods.....

Twin turbo gt35s 1000c injectors zl1 fuel pump cats removed, stock everything else. 12.7 is rich for na, boosted apps need richer... running on 93 pump gas.
