I’m running the bar toe rods and trailing arms with solid bushings and stock everything else even with out the 2-step But I’m know after my last track outing it’s for sure the tires. I tried to mimic you and even with a good launch I’d spin in second

My Hitmaster clutch hit controller can fix the problems you guys are having with slipping the clutch, it can also be set up to soften the clutch hit on the shifts as well. Big help for keeping an irs alive. Had a customer install one on a C6 last fall, first test session he put together a string of five 1.43 60's in a row.

How bad is the install on that?

Thanks for chiming in Grant. Me and my tuner have been looking at your Hitmaster for a while now. He bangs gears also and still holds the C7Z manual blower-only record. Glad to hear you think this will help us over here on Gen 5. Looks like the Blue Oval camp has been killing us with this thing for a while now lol

Got several hits on mine today up at Quaker City,..2900 to 3200DA,..60 to 70% humidity

1st pass was as it always is for me one of the better ones
11.34 at 124. 99mph the 1/8th

Several 11.50s messing with clutch release rpm

Last pass 2850DA 11.30 at 124.6

Best 60ft I could get was a 1.69 but the car shut momentarily on the 1-2 shift,...got some work to do,..kinda bummed I didn't see at least 128mph even with the shitty DA,..and it's a well known fact Quaker City is a solid 2 tenths slower track,..

Nice work Man! Especially in that DA. Car pulls strong on the back half. Stay after it. Only gets better in a Manual.

Thanks Man. Not really for many reasons. It’s an easy route to 9s but I’ve had some history with nitrous back in the day. A small shot turns into a bigger shot. I’d rather get there blower only.

9s for this Car won’t happen on factory blower only and suspension at current weight. 10.2 maybe. 10.1 in super -DA is probably it and still very enjoyable as a DD. I do have my eye on the Kong blower and hoping to see real world track results.

I know that's the truth! What started off as plans for 150 shot ended up being a 300 shot here lol. I've been looking into getting one of those ZL1s after having an SS. With your current setup how daily drivable is it? At what point does it cross the line of not being very streetable. I'd like a car like yours but what also like to be able to drive it cross country if I wanted to

It always turns into a 300-shot for some reason! LOL

Car is very drivable at current power level. It really depends on what you're used to though. Car is loud and shakes at idle with BTR3 cam. There is some cam surge but very manageable with a manual.

The biggest issue with DD 800-825 rwh is tires and traction. Anything past that power level would be a handful even on dry roads even with a Michelin PS4 or a DR. Again, more manageable with a manual. Auto kickdown would be a problem.

No time soon though.
What type of rear tires you running? Size? and type? Thats great for a 6 speed car!
