The lift blocks? They just clamp onto the section on the pinch weld with setscrews where you would normally lift the car from. There is a small indented section in the seam, front and back both sides where you would install them at. It says in this description NOTE!! Convertible 5th gen requires the front cut out in rocker to be enlarged.
Here is the link to all of them.

I know it says in the description, but was wondering if someone actually put them on a vert and had to trim the rocker to accomodate them...I am not keen into trimming a known area that has the highest potential for corrison.

I believe they are referring to trimming the "plastic" rocker panel, not the metal seam itself. If you look up under your car you will see a cutout portion of the plastic panel, I think that is what they are saying to enlarge the opening. You could always call them for clarification on that.

1JEWLDSSRS nailed it.
It’s just the plastic that must be trimmed. I tried to install without trimming plastic but I had to trim about 1” or so. I cut as little as possible and it’s all on the underside of plastic rocker. I feel it’s very much worth it to lift properly without damaging the pinch weld or worse, lifting from other places. I have these on my Z28 and ZL1 vert. I use anti seize on the screw/bolt.

Good luck

Not so much what I did , but what I am thinking about doing .
Has anybody installed one of these ? I have a CAI intake filter and the cover encloses the washer fill . Seems like this would be a good fix .
How difficult to install and does it function well ? Thanks for your input !!!

Out in the garage this evening and decided to check the oil in the Z/28. Had to get it up to operating temp so it was a good excuse to go out for a jaunt. I'm pretty religious about checking the dry sump per the manual. Right at full! Also threw in $50 worth of 91, that got me just a bit over 10 gals.

I met some friends at Subway....horrible parking there so I went to park behind it. Well, long story short they have an insanely high curb thing (the concrete things you park in front of) and well....I pulled a little too far up and slightly scratched the bottom part of my front bumper (the bottom point). I was pretty sad but it's nothing that some touch-up paint and a little more clearcoat won't fix.

The heavy rain the other day washed the salt off the road, so drove it to work today. It was nice to get it on the road again. It has been a few weeks since I drove it.
