Good idea lets all ban together and stop the gouging

Dude, whats the big deal? The first 31 cars need to be built sometime. they can't just flip a switch and have 100 000 cars appear in an instant. Plus they have to make sure that all the equipment works, fix any glitches that may arise in the robots. as well, the people need to be trained on how to install this and that. As well, these cars are likely to be used for crash test certification and/or collection items. either way they aren't going on sale to the general public. These are the first of the full production, not a limited production money grab.

Now, all that aside I pretty much agree with you on your dislike of limited production runs

The in the late 1990's sales in the camaro declined. the plant was grossly inefficient (damm Quebecers). They weren't making much money on the car. So they canceled it. it wasn't to spite the enthusiasts but they would have had to raise the price to maintain profits which would mean fewer buyers . . . The climate of the time meant that the car had to die, either quick and painlessly or bled to death in agony.
